Summer is here, and the race to make all the tees, tanks, and dresses has finally come. One of the things that we love about being Makers, is the ability to use the season and nature to inspire your mood and next creation. Seasonal summer fruits have some of us making fantastic, fresh galettes (we're looking at you Cathy!), while others have popped into the Flagship and inspired new sewing projects. The cyclical nature of inspiration and creation in our community can't be beat, and we can't get enough of it. What's next on your summer make list?mischievous makings

“The warmer weather has me wanting to bake again, and macarons are my go-to comfort bake. I love the complex simplicity of a macaron, and the ability to tailor the flavor profile to what I’m in the mood for. I just have to hide them from my family so they don’t eat them all in one go!”

We used Solo Fingering for this pattern - the beautiful single ply glows effortlessly with that ever-so-slightly there sheen of the Merino.
