MAGPIE: Kiki

Current WIP: knitting

“I loved the Sheep Camp pattern the first time I knit it, and the second time around is no different. This version might be my favorite of the two. I’m knitting this one up using Swanky DK in Stagbunny and Mesa - I love Mesa so much and have been wanting to knit something with it, so this WIP is really bringing me a lot of joy right now.”- Kiki

Current WIP: knitting

“I have a Traveler Hoodie on my needles right now. I love a hoodie, and seeing this pattern made me really want to work it up in Quartet Fingering because you absolutely cannot beat the squish of Quartet.”

- Wanitta

convincing cast ons

Every week, we scour the knitting universe for new releases, hidden gems and timeless classics, ensuring you have a queue overflowing with irresistible projects. Newbie or seasoned knitter? We've got something for everyone. So, ditch the decision fatigue and let us lure you into a world of yarn-filled wonder!

FIRST UP: tolsta tee

by Rebecca Clow

Pattern versatility and fantastic drape? Yes please! We saw a few of these gorgeous top-down raglan tee's in the wild during Maryland Sheep & Wool weekend, and they definitely had us swooning!
Swanky DK is the star of the show here, and with the 80/10/10 blend of the Merino/Cashmere/Nylon, you'll be reaching for this classic all season long.

NUMBER 2: darjeeling blouse

by Trust the Mojo

This beauty was spotted using Equinox Sport in Fior di Latte. The edge details at the sleeves and bottom hem add such an elegant detail, that this garment can easily be dressed up or down, adding ease and flexibility to your styling. Just looking at the photos makes us want to do a little shoulder shimmy, and you will want to, too!

book: the midnight library by matt haig

“This book has become somewhat of a comfort re-read for me - the first time I read it I was in tears by the end. I love the idea of different lives/multiple versions of yourself and the endless possibilities of you. The path of what ifs can be endless, but being secure in your choices and decisions is a hard lesson, no matter what age.” - Kiki

We hope this gave you a few ideas for your weekend or inspired you to try something new! Because, let’s be honest, as crafters we love doing a little bit of all the things 😌

Happy making!
