Join us as we celebrate spring and delve into watercolor basics with your floral designs.
We will be using a lovely watercolor workbook to learn the basics to begin your watercolor journey!
Knitting Colorwork Workshop
Have you been interested but intimidated by color work? Well this is the class for you! Join Mandy as she walks you through the different kinds of color work and how to tackle it head on! A foundation of basic knitting is required, you must already be able to knit and purl comfortably with one color. Please bring needles in size US 7-9 and worsted weight yarn in two colors.

Let us inspire your Spring decorating with this felted Easter egg workshop. During this class we will teach how to craft two super cute easter eggs for you to display in your home in any way you choose. As for us, we will be using ours to create a dynamic tablescape for holiday meals. Steeking in Style
Tackle the scary steek and open a whole new world of possibilities with your knitting! Together we will explore two different styles of steek edges from the fun of a knotted fringe steek great for a shawl and the all round great reinforcement method with crochet. We will finish off with the perfect and super neat steek sandwich band that makes a great finishing touch hiding your steek on a cardigan.
Students will learn:
Knotted fringe steek
reinforcing a steek with crochet method
Perfect cardigan band finishing with a “steek sandwich”
SKILL LEVEL: intermediate knitter; students should be comfortable to knit and purl in the round with two colours knitting easy colourwork, cast-on, bind -off
Intro to Estonian Knitting
Get a taste of Estonian knitting by making a wristlet showcasing four traditional techniques. This workshop is an introduction to Estonian knitting exploring knit fringe, knit braids, bobbles, and roosimine inlay knitting. We will travel across Estonia learning these different techniques that are much easier than they look. A great way to get to grips with many of the techniques covered in Aleks Byrd’s book Traditions Revisited: Modern Estonian Knits.
Students will learn:
Estonian Pärnumaa knit fringe
Knit braids: Kihnu vits & Twisted braid
Nupp bobble
Vikkel lateral braid
Roosimine inlay knitting
SKILL LEVEL: intermediate knitter ; students should be comfortable to knit and purl in the round with two colours at a time (easy colourwork), reading from charts, cast-on, bind -off
***This class is 6 hours of instruction with one 30 minute break***
